Some of these caches are designed from the start to be done from your PC using the Worldwide Web, others, very probably aren't designed that way - but- even so can be completed without visiting the physical location. The Geocaching ethics of this type of caching, I leave to you.

Useful Search Hint.
When doing the German caches, search in German. e.g if looking for something in Munich use München as the search term rather than the English version - to type the characters peculiar to German use the Character Map tool, to be found in the Programs, Accessories, SystemTools menu -or- to type the ü character Hold down the ALT key and press 0252 on the numeric keypad - then let go of the ALT Key.
